At last I'm nearing completion of my master's degree. I've had a difficult time putting some of my passions aside such as photography, working in the yard, and gardening while furthering my education, but in the end it will be worth it.
Now that I can see the end of the road, it's more important than ever to keep myself motivated. With only one more class left after wrapping up the course I'm currently enrolled in, I'll be done. To motivate myself to push forward and to reward myself for this accomplishment, I just ordered some rolls of Fuji Reala 100 and Kodak Ektar 100 120 film.
I've had the beautiful camera pictured below for a little over a year, and I've never used it. It's been calling out to me recently, so as soon as I finish school the first thing I'm doing is pulling one of the rolls of film out of my fridge and heading out to shoot.
I'm planning on finishing up school around February, so there's still some time to go. I've continued to do some occasional photo shoots, but I've turned many opportunities down so I could focus on homework. I can't wait to be done so I can grab a bunch of my neglected cameras off the shelf and put them to work.
Here's looking forward to the near future...
